Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Electronics Technician to support fast-paced operations at the Navy’s SEAFAC facility in Ketchikan, Alaska. You will assemble, install, troubleshoot, test, and deploy low voltage electronic devices and systems used in surface and subsea applications.

The role requires reading schematics, wiring harness work, lab equipment use, and the ability to work offshore or on boats. A US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years related experience.
• Willingness to learn and read schematics and drawings.
• Experience with low voltage AC/DC systems and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and operate small boats in varying weather conditions.
• Construct component racks to meet equipment standards.
• Troubleshoot and fabricate electronic subassemblies.
• Operate standard shop equipment (drill press, hand tools, spray).
• Inventory parts and materials for assembly.
• Interpret engineering drawings and electrical/mechanical prints.
