Job summary

Leidos' Maritime Systems Division in Lynnwood, WA is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support assembly, testing, and production of electro-mechanical devices for surface and subsea applications.

The role requires US citizenship and an active SECRET clearance, with hands-on experience reading schematics, wiring, soldering to J-STD-001, and using standard test equipment. You will work under self-motivated, detail-oriented teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5–7 years' related experience.
• Active SECRET security clearance.
• Experience reading schematics and drawings.
• Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Familiar with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, meters, frequency generators.
• Capable of soldering to J-STD-001 and willingness to obtain certification.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to switch tasks quickly.
• Ability to work with others and communicate instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Electrical assembly and wire harness fabrication using diverse connectors.
• Circuit board component installation and testing using J-Std techniques.
• Circuit card assembly inspection and test; troubleshoot with standard lab equipment.
• Mechanical assembly per drawings; potting and encapsulation of subassemblies.
• Read and follow BOMs, procedures, and work instructions.
• Document serial numbers, travelers, and non-conformances.
• Build assembly fixtures for process improvements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized lab environment.
