Job summary

The State-of-Missour is seeking a supervisory-level maintenance professional to direct and oversee a variety of facility, grounds, and trades staff in maintaining electronic and electrical equipment and systems at a Missouri Department of Corrections facility.

You will install, inspect, and maintain equipment, provide technical guidance, and prepare reports while supervising a team and coordinating with contractors to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience relevant/similar to the listed job functions or completion of a relevant technical training program or job certificate.

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, and maintains electronic and electrical equipment, software, components, and systems; provide technical advice and assistance on the use of electronic equipment.
• Prepares cost estimates, purchase requisitions, and associated reports.
• Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline.
• Supervision at this level also requires knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.
