Job summary

Dow is seeking a Market Development Manager for Electronics & Semiconductor Markets (C&E), preferably a virtual office on the West Coast Bay region or Houston, TX. The role leads market development for Dow’s specialty chemical solutions across consumer electronics, data center/server, and semiconductor sectors.

This NA-based position requires a global value chain perspective, focusing on design engineers and influencers to drive design-in and maximize win.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~30%).
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Market Growth & Strategy: Identify and develop new business opportunities in electronics, data centers, and semiconductor segments.
• Value Chain Engagement: Engage with the electronics value chain to drive design-in and inclusion of Dow materials in specs.
• Key Account & Partner Management: Build strategic partnerships with brand owners, OEMs, EMS, and OSATs to win spec-in approvals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product development, sales, and technical service to align offerings with market needs.
• Cross-Regional Collaboration: Coordinate with APAC, Europe, and Americas teams to advance opportunities.
• Market Intelligence & Advocacy: Monitor trends and represent Dow at industry events to build market leadership.
• Strategic Planning & Reporting: Support go-to-market plans and track growth targets and pipeline.
