Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Repair Agent to perform high quality repairs on consumer electronics and appliances in Gastonia, NC. You will diagnose, repair, and test products, and communicate repair details and costs clearly with customers.

Job description

The Repair Agent performs high quality repairs on consumer electronics and appliances by addressing all unit symptoms and making repairs as necessary. Their responsibilities include communicating effectively and educating customers on product repairs.

Key Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Able to lift weight up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• 6 months of experience diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliances

Preferred Qualifications

• Consumer Electronics and/or Appliance Manufacture Repair Certification
• Sealed System Certification applicable to appliances
• 6 months of experience using Best Buy's Star and Smart Parts system or other Parts Inventory System
