Caterpillar Inc. seeks an Electronic Components Project Lead at its Chillicothe, IL facility. Manage design, development and testing of electrical components for machines and engines, coordinating with diverse teams and customers to meet objectives.

Lead project staffing, mentor engineers, control costs, and ensure timely delivery while leveraging wiring harness expertise to deliver innovative solutions. Onsite five days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or related engineering field.
• Experience leading engineering projects with electrical components.
• Ability to plan, estimate, and manage project costs and schedules.
• Knowledge of Creo or other 3D modelling tools and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex projects involving design, development and testing of electrical components for machines and engines.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing and platform groups to manage resources and deliverables.
• Oversee progress, costs, and reporting; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Direct staffing, mentor team, and maintain client/vendor relationships.
• Apply machine and engine wiring harness expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
