Caterpillar Inc. seeks an Electronic Control Module Technical Lead Engineer for its Chillicothe, IL facility. Develop, improve and troubleshoot ECM hardware for engine and machine systems, including requirements, circuit analysis, and platform verification.

Move from individual contributor to technical leader, coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. On-site work five days a week; visa sponsorship not available; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in Electronics Design Engineering or related roles.
• Board-level circuit design including analog, digital, and/or power supply circuits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve and troubleshoot ECM hardware for engines and machine systems.
• Define product requirements, circuit analysis and layout review, and platform verification.
• Lead technical delivery and mentor team members across locations.
