Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a Director of Operations to lead, plan, and optimize electronics operations at the Phoenix site. You will oversee production, maintenance, safety, and financial performance across multiple plants and support systems.

The role requires a decade of on-site operations experience, strong leadership, and a track record of driving Lean Six Sigma initiatives in the semiconductor sector. Expect travel, on-call duties, and strategic program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; engineering degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in bulk and on-site operations.
• 5+ years of plant management experience.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong planning and execution abilities.
• Self-starter with the ability to drive project execution and strategic initiatives.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Willingness to travel, be on call, and carry a cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Manage communications with the customer on operational concerns for the site.
• Create and manage complex plans to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality compliance for all plants on site.
• Develop Lean Six Sigma and cost-reduction projects.
• Analyze financial performance and manage site costs for CAPEX and OPEX.
• Track and close action items from programs and investigations.
• Monitor site performance against plan and KPI goals.
• Mentor plant managers and develop their teams.
• Set goals and measure performance for plant teams.
• Drive improvements in site performance.
