Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with microprocessor- or microcontroller-based products.
• Background in electronics manufacturing, testing, or repair preferred.
• Experience developing automated test systems preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot to component level using schematics and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup of new production line equipment for testing, repair, and upgrade.
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures and systems for hardware, software, and mechanical components as needed.
• Troubleshoot failures and perform root-cause analysis on electronics products returned from customer facilities.
• Collect repair data and maintain repair records and databases.
• Provide feedback to product development on design corrections, product enhancements, and recurring failure trends.
• Assist in developing and documenting troubleshooting and repair protocols.
• Perform repairs on returned devices following safety and quality standards.
• Mentor operations and repair technicians; share knowledge and best practices.
