Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to set up and maintain production lines used to repair and upgrade returned customer products. The role also involves supporting technicians in diagnosing and repairing electronic systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include leading equipment setup, designing test fixtures, troubleshooting failures, and mentoring technicians. A Bachelor's in EE and experience with microcontroller-based products are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with microprocessor- or microcontroller-based products
• Electronics manufacturing experience
• Automated test systems experience preferred
• Component-level troubleshooting/repair of electronic products preferred
• Switching power supplies experience preferred
• Design, construct, and maintain test fixtures/systems for microcontroller-based products
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits to component level using schematics and test equipment
• Knowledge of safety practices in lab/manufacturing
• Willingness to mentor operations/repair technicians
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup of new production line equipment for testing, repair, and upgrades
• Assist in design/maintenance of test fixtures, hardware, software, and mechanical components
• Troubleshoot product failures and perform root-cause analysis on returned electronics
• Collect repair data and maintain accurate repair records/databases
• Provide feedback to product development on design corrections and enhancements
• Develop and document troubleshooting/repair protocols
• Perform repairs on returned devices per quality/safety standards
• Assist technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electronics
• Provide technical guidance to operations/repair technicians
