Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support repair and upgrade of electronic products on production lines. You will set up equipment, maintain test fixtures, and troubleshoot at the component level to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with microcontroller-based products and electronics manufacturing. You will mentor technicians and help develop test protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with electronics manufacturing, testing or repair strongly preferred
• Experience designing or manufacturing microprocessor- or microcontroller-based products is required
• Experience developing automated test systems preferred but not required
• Strong troubleshooting and component-level repair skills are highly desired
• Comfort with schematics and standard test equipment is essential

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup of new production line equipment used to test, repair, and upgrade electronic products
• Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and test systems
• Troubleshoot product failures and perform root-cause analysis on electronics returned by customers
• Collect repair data and maintain repair records/databases
• Provide feedback to product development on design corrections and recurring failure trends
• Assist in developing troubleshooting and repair protocols
• Perform repairs on returned devices in line with safety standards
• Mentor operations and repair technicians
• Provide technical guidance to the team
