Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Electronics Engineer/ Principal Electronics Engineer for the Supplier Management Team. This on-site role is located in Palmdale, El Segundo, or San Diego, CA, with travel up to 25%. A Top Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in STEM with 0 years of related engineering experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline with 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s with 3 years; OR a PhD with 1 year
• Active US Government Top Secret Clearance (with background investigation within past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation)
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government SCI clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SMT efforts with engineers, subcontract administrator, supplier QA, logistics engineers, cost account manager, scheduler, and material planner
• Manage supplier performance across planning, proposals, development, production, testing, deliveries and sustainment
• Review supplier documentation such as evaluations, test procedures, cost and schedule reports, and software version descriptions
• Report supplier status to Program Managers, GSC managers, and IPT Management
