Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Electronics Engineer – Supplier Management Team for the Avionics Team. This on-site role can be in Palmdale, El Segundo, or San Diego, CA, with up to 25% travel.

The selected candidate will support the SMT and Global Supply Chain as the primary interface to suppliers for subsystems, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate across levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years related engineering experience, or Master’s with 0 years
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5 years related experience; or Master’s with 3 years; or PhD with 1 year
• Active US Government Top Secret Clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearance and SAP clearance

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SMT engineering, subcontracts, supplier QA, logistics, and scheduling across programs
• Manage all phases of supplier performance from planning to sustainment
• Review supplier docs like evaluations, test procedures, and cost/schedule reports
• Report supplier status to Program Managers and IPT Management
