Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Staff Electronics Engineer – Engineering Architect Lead to join our team in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), CA or Palmdale, CA. The role leads a team of architects, engineers, drafters, and SMT leads to develop upgrade designs and documentation for large data center projects.

Candidates must have a STEM degree and 12 years of related engineering experience (or equivalent), hands-on electronics/system engineering, and an active Top-Secret clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 12 years of related engineering experience; or Master’s with 10 years; or PhD with 9 years.
• Active US Top-Secret clearance required (or within last 6 years) and ability to obtain SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a team of architects, engineers, drafters, and SMT leads.
• Capture project SOW & requirements for upgrades and installations.
• Develop designs and engineering documentation for upgrades and installations.
• Lead issue resolution during upgrades, and support TRBs and change requests.
