Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA, is seeking an Electronics Engineer – Communications to join our team. The candidate will work on LOS/BLOS communication systems, AESA antennas, and test events, with hands-on troubleshooting and field support in an IPT setting.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2 years (or Master’s with 0) experience, RF system integration expertise, and the ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret (SCI/SAP) clearances.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM with 2 years related engineering experience or MS with 0 years.
• Strong understanding of RF signal chains and system integration.
• Experience with RF/test equipment and communications system integration.
• Must have active Top Secret clearance or be eligible.
• Ability to obtain SCI and SAP clearances.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work with LOS and BLOS communication systems and AESA antenna systems.
• Provide engineering expertise and troubleshooting during test events.
• Guide Field Service Representatives for field maintenance and analyses.
• Lead investigations for root cause and corrective actions on comms subsystems.
• Identify improvements and coordinate with engineering teams.
