Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead Electronics Assembly Manufacturing within the Electronics Value Stream. You will drive day-to-day production with focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, supervising Assembly Technicians and coordinating with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning teams.

Reporting to the Electronics Production Manager, you will develop daily plans, monitor performance, and lead continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience or familiarity in electronics manufacturing.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to lead programs/projects.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems.
Project management skills to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Understanding of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing practices and ERP/MRP planning systems.
Excellent verbal and presentation skills for interaction with production teams and management.
Design for Manufacturing methods and techniques.
Strong MS Windows skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with MS Project.

Responsibilities

Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Drive product quality by adhering to standards and solving nonconformances with Quality Engineering.
Manage production schedules to meet customer commitments through planning and execution.
Reduce costs by minimizing downtime, inefficiencies, scrap, and rework.
Develop and communicate daily production plans, priorities, and resource assignments.
Track performance and take corrective actions to meet targets.
Lead daily production meetings and maintain visual performance dashboards.
Identify schedule risks and collaborate on mitigation plans.
Coordinate with Master Scheduler on labor capacity and equipment loading.
Provide coaching and performance management for Assembly Technicians.
Foster engagement through training, mentoring, and recognition.
Collaborate with Product Engineering for new product introductions and readiness.
Work with Quality Engineering to resolve issues promptly.
Partner with Supply Chain and Materials to maintain inventory and kanban systems.
Lead root cause analyses and process improvement efforts.
