Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler Supervisor to lead daily assembly operations, ensure quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor.

You will coach a team of electrical assemblers, coordinate with Engineering, Planning, and Quality, and participate in workforce planning and recruiting to build high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical assembly experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems; Global Shop Solutions (GSS) preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily electrical assembly operations for UL-891 switchboards, control systems, and custom electrical equipment.
• Assign work based on production priorities while monitoring workflow, labor utilization, and schedule adherence.
• Ensure products are assembled according to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate activities with Engineering, Planning, Mechanical Assembly, Warehouse, and Quality teams.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop a team of electrical assemblers.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee training and development.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, workforce planning, and cross-training initiatives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
