Job summary

Motorola Solutions, via its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Sales Engineer for the Department of War to tailor solutions for customers and travel up to 50%. You will support pre- and post-sales activities, deliver demonstrations, and influence product development while engaging with Sales, Marketing and BD teams.

The role reports to the Director of Sales Engineering and offers potential for remote work depending on location, with travel often required for events and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 2+ years in pre- and post-sales tech support, or HS diploma with 6+ years in pre- and post-sales support.
• Proficiency with radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Demonstrate and support Silvus' radio and networking solutions to customers.
• Prepare product demonstrations for visits and equipment evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and contribute feedback to development.
