Electronics Technician II - W-TRS Engagement Skills Trainer

Location: Fairdale, Kentucky

Role: SCA

Platform Description:

Perform repairs on Engagement Skills Trainer devices, including simulation weapons, LRUs, and components. Use technical manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, utilizing tools and test equipment. Maintain records of repairs and parts using Maximo, interpret data to solve problems, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on Ground TES Devices and GFP, following manuals or industry best practices.
• Notify the Depot Lead of maintenance timelines and support personnel travel for maintenance or increased demand.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with training, exercises, and testing schedules.
• Record maintenance activities in real-time using InSite.
• Track warranty terms by part number, serial number, and location.
• Analyze maintenance trends, manage obsolescence, and conduct failure analysis to improve system reliability.
• Install modifications or upgrade kits as per manufacturer instructions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years with a BA/BS degree, 1+ years with an MA/MS, 4+ years with an AA, or 6+ years without a degree.
• Certification: Basic Electronic Technical Certificate preferred.
• Experience in maintenance of TADSS and GFP, including troubleshooting, record-keeping, and system testing.
• Ability to communicate maintenance timelines and support logistics.
• Knowledge of warranty tracking, hardware baselines, and risk management strategies.

Clearance: Secret Clearance required.
