Qualifications

• Associate degree in technology or equivalent experience is required.
• 2+ years’ experience working with hardware products, preferably in a repair-related field.
• Strong computer literacy and attention to detail are essential.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability is required.
• Experience BIOS configuration and hardware upgrades is preferred.
• Ability to identify and install PC hardware and peripherals.
• Willingness to travel to other sites or customer locations (10% of time).
• Able to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks as needed.

• Evaluate electronic assets and determine value based on physical and operational condition.
• Perform data security on electronic assets.
• Configure, upgrade and test computer hardware and peripherals.
• Inspect, classify, diagnose, evaluate, disassemble, and repair computer hardware.
• Evaluate and identify hardware for disposition (resell, repair, harvest, recycle).
• Upgrade products through addition of new hardware.
• Enter asset information into ERP system and manage inventory for upgrades or shortages.
• Install operating systems on computer products per procedure.
