San Francisco Federal Credit Union is seeking an Electronic Payment Services Assistant Manager at our Golden Gate branch in San Francisco. The role leads EPS operations across ACH, wires, and related payment services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and robust controls.

You will drive improvements, manage complex exceptions, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. The successful candidate will have 5+ years in payments or banking, strong analytical and leadership skills, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in credit union/banking or electronic payments.
• Strong knowledge of Electronic Payment Services and processing.
• Experience with project management, process improvement, or system implementations.
• Ability to analyze complex payment operations and manage confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the management and strategic direction of Electronic Payment Services.
• Provide expertise for ACH, wires, Remote Deposit Capture, Share Draft, Bill Pay, IRA, and related payment processes.
• Ensure operational accuracy, compliance, service quality, and risk management.
• Lead process improvement, automation, and workflow optimization initiatives.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, Technology, Operations, and vendors to implement solutions.
• Analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for productivity and scalability.
• Support staff development and cross-training within the department.
• Act on behalf of leadership in assigned EPS areas.
