Job summary

San Francisco Federal Credit Union in San Francisco, CA, is seeking an Electronic Payment Services Assistant Manager for the Golden Gate branch. You will lead and improve ACH, wire transfers, ECT payments and related processing, while partnering with Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Operations to drive efficiency and controls.

The role requires 5+ years in electronic payments or payment operations, strong leadership, and project management experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in credit union, banking, financial services, electronic payments, or payment operations.
• Strong knowledge of Electronic Payment Services and payment processing.
• Working knowledge of ACH, wires, electronic funds transfers, payment settlement, and related processes.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with project management, process improvement, or system implementations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the management and strategic direction of Electronic Payment Services and implement initiatives.
• Provide expertise for ACH, wire transfers, Remote Deposit Capture, and related payment processes.
• Ensure operational accuracy, compliance, and effective risk management.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and controls.
• Manage projects, system enhancements, and technology implementations.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Technology, Operations, and vendors.
