A leading company is seeking an Electronic Manufacturing Technician responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components. The role requires attention to detail and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure quality production and adherence to safety protocols.
Job Summary:
As an Electronic Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components and devices. This role involves working with complex machinery and electronic systems to ensure high-quality output and adherence to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly: Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, and other devices according to detailed specifications using tools like soldering irons, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Testing: Perform functional tests to ensure the electronics meet quality standards. This includes setting up test equipment, running diagnostic tests, and interpreting results.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair defects in electronic assemblies. This might involve rework, repair, or adjustment of electronic components to meet design specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards. Document and log any discrepancies or issues for further analysis or improvement.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on manufacturing tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, tests performed, repairs made, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to resolve production issues, provide feedback for product design improvements, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading schematics, understanding of electronics principles, and experience with soldering techniques. Familiarity with IPC standards is a plus.
- Educational Background: An associate degree or technical certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Typically, 1-3 years of experience in electronic manufacturing or a related field. Experience with automated assembly equipment is beneficial.
- Attention to Detail: Must have meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality production.
- Problem Solving: Good analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 43,400.00 - 80,600.00
