Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (END) per diem. The role conducts and analyzes EEG, performs EP, NCS, LTM/IOM on patients of all ages, documents results, and reports findings to ordering providers. Will also handle clerical duties.

Requirements include high school diploma, BLS, ABRET R EEG T, and possibly R EPT and R NCST. An associate degree in electro neurodiagnostic technology preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintained.
• Registered Electroencephalogram Technologist (R. EEG T) from ABRET upon hire and maintained.
• Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EPT.) preferred.
• Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R. NCST.) preferred.
• Associate degree in Electro neurodiagnostic technology preferred.

Responsibilities

AnElectroneurodiagnostic(END)Technologistconducts & analyses electroencephalography (EEG), & performs Evoked Potentials (EP), Nerve Conductions (NCS), Long-Term Monitoring (LTM)/Intensive Care Monitoring (ICU), or Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IOM) on in & outpatients of all ages. Results are documented & reports on findings to designated ordering providers. Performs clerical duties. Participates in performance improvement & continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) upon hire and maintain current.
• Registered Electroencephalogram Technologist (R. EEG T) from the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologies (ABRET) Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation upon hire and maintained current.
• Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EPT.) from ARBET preferred.
• Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R. NCST.) preferred.
• Associate degree in Electro neurodiagnostic technology from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs preferred.

Pay Transparency

Olympia Fields Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.99. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
