IHA in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an EEG Technician to perform long-term monitoring of adult and pediatric patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). The role includes computer setup, data editing, and data mining to generate high quality neurodiagnostic tests for physicians.
Minimum END program graduate (or equivalent) with BCLS certification; ABRET certification within two years is preferred. Strong communication with neurologists and proficiency with neurodiagnostic software are valued.

Minimum Graduate of an accredited Electro neurodiagnostic Program (END) program or on-the-job training with a minimum of two years' experience.
Preferred Graduate of an accredited Electro neurodiagnostic Program (END) with a minimum of an associate's degree and one-year electro neurodiagnostic experience.
Minimum Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
Preferred associate's degree in health sciences. Ability to complete certification as an EEG Technologist by the American Board of Electro neurodiagnostic Technologists (ABRET) within two years of hire.
Minimum Satisfactory completion of CCF EEG Course and Testing.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Familiarity with standard desktop and windows-based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation. Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.

Ability to lift up to a maximum of 35 lbs. and perform push/pull tasks that require a maximum force of 35 lbs. Ability to physically operate safe patient movement equipment in compliance with the Safe Patient Movement Policy.
