Toyota Material Handling North America in Greene, New York, is seeking an Electromechanical Systems Engineer to lead Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives. You will evaluate designs, develop cost-effective alternatives, and work with manufacturing, operations, product development, and suppliers to reduce cost while maintaining quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering, strong DFMA knowledge, and proven root-cause problem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with DFMA and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and propose design alternatives to reduce cost while preserving quality.
• Develop and test redesigned components to support VAVE initiatives.
• Troubleshoot product issues using root-cause analysis and modify designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, product development, and suppliers to implement improvements.
• Drive engineering initiatives influencing cost, manufacturability, and profitability.
