Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering required.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and industrial manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of DFMA principles and best practices.
• Root-cause analysis capability and structured problem-solving.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Effective planning and coordination across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and propose design alternatives that reduce cost while preserving performance and quality.
• Develop and test redesigned components and systems for VAVE and cost-reduction goals.
• Troubleshoot product issues, perform root-cause analysis, modify designs.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and costs for improvements.
• Serve as the primary Systems Engineer within the VAVE team.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, product development, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Drive initiatives influencing cost, manufacturability, and profitability.
