Job summary
Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an Electromechanical Technician in East Longmeadow, MA. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, mechanical, and vacuum systems across machinery.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant experience, a technical education in electronics or equivalent apprenticeship, and familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and electrical safety standards. Monday–Friday shift with comprehensive benefits provided.
Qualifications
- Equivalent to a complete accredited apprenticeship or 2-year technical college education in electronics (analog and digital).
- Trained in electrical safe work practices with emphasis on NFPA 70E.
- 1-3 years previous experience in Electromechanical/Electro-mechanical roles.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, mechanical, and vacuum systems for machinery.
- Use precision measuring instruments and CNC knowledge as needed.
- Work with sensors: temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, current, and related signals.
- Operate PLC programming software and perform VFD setup and commissioning.
- Repair instrumentation and controllers as required.
