Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking an Electromechanical Technician.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, mechanical, and vacuum systems for manufacturing equipment, working with sensors and instrumentation to ensure reliable operation. The role requires an apprenticeship or 2-year technical education in electronics (analog and digital), NFPA 70E safety training, and 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a complete accredited apprenticeship or equally a 2-year technical college education in electronics (analog and digital).
• Trained in electrical safe work practices with emphasis on NFPA 70E.
• 1–3 years of previous experience in the field.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, mechanical, and vacuum systems for machinery.
• Use advanced trades mathematics with drawings, specifications, charts and tables and precision measuring instruments, CNC equipment, PCs.
• Work with sensors (temperature, flow, pressure, voltage, current, etc.) on industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and controllers.
