Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, replace and install electrical components across the facility and equipment. You will also handle PLC components and programming, coordinating with outside contractors and utilities.

You will perform daily tasks, respond to electrical pages, work on line upgrades, and log activities while driving safety and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with PLC training completed.
• 5 years electrical and PLC experience, preferably with maintenance exposure.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and PLC ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and respond to electrical support requests.
• Work on line equipment relocations, installations and upgrades.
• Document work orders and update electrical records after changes.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for electrical/PLC support.
• Identify safety issues and suggest improvements, attend monthly safety training.
