Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Electromechanical Senior Technician for a 12-hour rotating night shift (7pm–7am) at our U.S. facility.

You will troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components, applying TPM/Lean principles in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a technical college certification or Journeyman status and 2+ years in industrial electrical controls; PLCs, VFDs and SAP experience are a plus.

Qualifications

Technical college certification or Journeyman in a related field with 2+ years in industrial electrical controls.
Experience with PLCs, VFDs and electrical safety standards is preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot diverse equipment.

Responsibilities

Respond to recovery and repair of factory-installed equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components using advanced problem-solving techniques.
Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, inspections and basic cleaning/lubrication.
Implement corrective actions to support safety, quality and reliability.
Work with motor controls, PLCs, safety relays and 24VDC/480VAC systems.
