Job summary

SC Johnson in Racine, WI seeks an Electromechanical Senior Technician for a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am). You will troubleshoot, repair and replace factory equipment across electrical and mechanical systems, supporting maintenance programs and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements include a technical college certification or Journeyman status with 2+ years of industrial electrical controls experience; PLC programming is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical college certification or Journeyman status with 2+ years industrial electrical controls experience.
• Experience with PLC programming is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond and assist in recovery and repair of factory installed equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic components.
• Perform preventative maintenance per OEM specs, including overhauls and inspections.
• Complete corrective actions to support safety, quality and reliability.
• Work with motor controls, PLCs and safety systems.
• Operate SAP to review work orders and document completion.
• Train autonomous maintenance groups and participate in TPM/Lean initiatives.
