Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Technical Customer Support specialist to assist customers with technical product information and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.

You will handle phone, email, chat and voice mail inquiries, create wiring diagrams, recommend parts for door locking applications, coordinate with other departments, and help ensure ISO 9001/14001 compliance while delivering responsive service.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of technical training in mechanics or electronics.
• Two to five years’ experience in a customer service related position, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
• Working knowledge of inventory, manufacturing and database software.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone coverage during set business hours and respond to customer inquiries.
• Process phone inquiries, emails, chats and voicemails.
• Create wiring diagrams for customers and recommend parts for door locking applications.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet customer needs.
• Document quality issues and provide evaluation reports to customers.
• Support ISO 9001 & 14001 compliance.
