Job summary

Charter Casting is seeking an Maintenance Electromechanical Technician II to join our skilled team in Shawano, WI. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and preventing electromechanical failures on production equipment, with emphasis on safe, efficient operation.

Responsibilities include performing PMs, reading blueprints and schematics, and supporting process improvements across the line. Weekend night shift, with full benefits and growth opportunities within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Accredited electrical apprenticeship or two years technical training with two+ years’ industrial electromechanical experience.
• Ability to read complex documents such as wiring diagrams, schematics, instructions, safety rules and specifications.
• Experience with electrical codes and regulations; knowledge of drives, PLCs, and motors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, modify, and repair electromechanical issues and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems and diagnose problems; calibrate and repair pneumatic/hydraulic components.
