Job summary
Charter Casting is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to support our casting operations in Shawano, Wisconsin. You will troubleshoot electromechanical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, inspect systems, and calibrate components to keep production lines running smoothly.
We value hands-on technicians with knowledge of drives, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. The role offers a $5,000 signing bonus, full benefits, and a path to grow within a family-owned manufacturing
Qualifications
- Two years of technical training or an electrical apprenticeship plus industrial electromechanical experience.
- Experience reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Knowledge of drives, controls, PLCs, and motors.
- Lockout/tagout knowledge and electrical safety proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electromechanical issues and equipment.
- Perform regular and preventive maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
- Inspect systems daily to identify startup problems.
- Repair and calibrate pneumatic assemblies and hydraulic systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot facility HVAC systems.
- Ensure control systems operate per procedures and minimize downtime.
