Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive the handoff of electromechanical products from NPI to production. You will contribute to DFM/DFA efforts, establish robust processes, and create detailed work instructions and SOPs to ensure repeatable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to the delivery of electromechanical hardware in a resource‑constrained environment.
• Experience or familiarity with integrating assemblies/subassemblies.
• Extremely organized and detail‑oriented.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Experience in configuration management and change control processes.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the transition of new electromechanical products from NPI to production.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for existing production lines and manufacturing processes.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of efficient manufacturing processes.
• Participate in projects for the installation, commissioning, and validation of new manufacturing systems and equipment.
• Assist in identifying and implementing automation solutions and integrated workflows.
• Develop and refine detailed manufacturing process flows.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and quality control plans.
• Partner with contract manufacturers to establish repeatable production processes and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Travel to key suppliers and contract manufacturers to resolve production issues and audit processes.
• Provide DFM/DFA feedback to engineering teams to optimize for production efficiency.
