Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Sentry Tower Systems to transition new electromechanical products from NPI to production, applying DFM and DFA to establish robust processes and clear work instructions.

You will collaborate across Design, Quality, Production Operations, Software, and PM to own PLM data, BOM management, change control, and coordination with contract manufacturers to ensure on-time, high-quality output in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Experience contributing to electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
• Experience with integrating assemblies/subassemblies.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Experience in configuration management and change control processes.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

Responsibilities

• Support the transition of new electromechanical products from NPI to production, contributing to DFM and DFA efforts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for existing production lines and processes.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of efficient manufacturing processes.
• Participate in projects for installation, commissioning, and validation of new systems and equipment.
• Assist in identifying and implementing automation solutions and integrated workflows.
• Develop and refine detailed manufacturing process flows.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including SOPs and QC plans
• Partner with contract manufacturers to establish repeatable production processes and ensure on-time delivery
