Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Electromechanical Senior Technician for a 12-hour rotating night shift (C-Team) at our Racine, WI facility. You will troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical and mechanical components to maintain production lines and meet safety standards.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in industrial electrical controls, a technical certification or journeyman status, and experience with motor controls, PLCs, and SAP for work orders.

Qualifications

• Technical college certification in a related field or Journeyman qualification with 2+ years of industrial electrical controls experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond to recovery and repair of factory-installed equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components with basic/advanced problem-solving techniques.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including overhauls, calibration, inspections and lubrication.
• Carry out corrective actions supporting safety, quality and reliability.
• Work with motor controls, PLCs, safety relays and 24 VDC/480 VAC systems.
• Utilize SAP to review work, generate work orders and document completion.
• Assist in training autonomous maintenance teams and lean initiatives.
