Job summary

IBA Worldwide is seeking an Installation Engineer - Electromechanical in Boston, MA. You will operate and maintain Proton Therapy System equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering, Physics or other applicable field, or an Associate’s degree with 7+ years of relevant work experience.
3+ years of experience in electrical/mechanical system repair, troubleshooting, maintenance of large integrated systems.
Experience with Cyclotrons, Electronics, Mechanical Systems, Software Analysis, X-Ray Systems, Positioning Equipment, Cooling Systems, Vacuum Systems, PLCs, Regulation Loops, Drivers, Sensors, Electric Motors, Power Supplies, Proton Therapy Systems, etc.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Familiarity with local EHS regulations and lean maintenance concepts.

Responsibilities

Maintain and deploy the Proton Therapy System (PTS) for various customer needs, including QA and testing.
Troubleshoot PTS equipment including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
Perform routine and corrective maintenance, system upgrades, and inspections.
Communicate system status clearly to leadership and site staff, and assist with testing.
Train and mentor Technicians and new colleagues.
