Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Technician (Floater) to service and repair light industrial equipment at big box retailers within a 3-hour radius, with overnight travel as needed.

You’ll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures, perform preventative maintenance, use hand and power tools, and communicate clearly with customers and supervisors. A high school diploma or GED, 2 years’ electromechanical experience, and a valid driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment.
• Experience with electromechanical equipment is required, with a minimum of 2 years.
• Ability to read schematics is necessary.
• Driving record must be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures and provide solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines.
• Respond to on-site maintenance service calls within contract time frames.
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers.
