Job summary

DOC SERVICES is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of equipment inside big box retail stores. You will work from home and respond to service calls as scheduled by the DSM, with travel to customer sites as needed.

You will diagnose and repair electromechanical systems, follow OSHA and DOC safety rules, and document work with handheld devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of equipment repair experience or equivalent training.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and service documentation.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and insurance proof.
• Satisfactory background check and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Adhere to OSHA, customer and company safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to service calls within expected timeframes and document work via handheld devices.
• Order correct parts and manage on-hand inventory for timely repairs.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team, ensuring proper follow-up.
• Travel to and from customer locations and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain professionalism and safety at all times; perform other duties as needed.
