DOC SERVICES, with over 35 years of experience servicing over 1500 stores across the US, provides maintenance on electromechanical equipment for big box retailers. Our certified technicians deliver support and repair solutions to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: Electromechanical Field Service Technicians work from home, responding to service calls and performing reactive, preventative, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or a combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics.
• Use computer applications including Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Know and understand safety regulations required as it relates to equipment repair.
• Strong organization skills; self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record along with proof of insurance.
• Satisfactory background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Provide documentation as required by customer and DOC through handheld device.
• Perform cost effective service and repairs while maintaining quality.
• Seek technical support while onsite to avoid delays in repairs.
• Travel to and from customer locations.
• Maintain inventory on hand and assist with parts management.
• Arrive to job on-time with tools and safety equipment.
• Evaluate preventable service problems and communicate recommendations to customers.
