DOC Services, Inc. seeks Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electromechanical equipment in big box retail stores.

Technicians work from home and respond to service calls, traveling to customer sites as needed and adhering to safety rules. The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical repair, reading schematics, and documenting service work with portable devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to equipment repair.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Provide documentation via handheld device as required by customer and DOC.
• Perform cost effective service and repairs while maintaining quality.
• Travel to and from customer locations and order parts as needed.
• Maintain inventory and arrive prepared with tools, parts and safety equipment.
• Educate customers and make recommendations to prevent future issues.
