Job summary

Chipton-Ross Inc. in Hawthorne, CA is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler for a direct hire opportunity. The role involves assembling small components with a microscope, inspecting solder joints, wiring, and staking to IPC J-STD-001, and testing relays or switches.

You will read and follow assembly drawings and procedures, communicate with the Lead and Supervisor as required, and perform routine tasks with general instructions on new assignments. Full-time hours are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings/procedures.
• Capable of communicating with Lead, Supervisor and customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Works on semi-routine assignments with general instructions.
• Visual inspection of solder joints, wiring, and staking to IPC J-STD-001.
• Assemble small components using a microscope.
• Adjust Relays or Switches or other electronics.
• Test Relays or Switches or other electronics.
