Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to service blow film production equipment and perform preventive maintenance at the Indiana site. The role involves electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, welding, reading blueprints, and coordinating with shift teams to minimize downtime.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years in industrial electrical repair, and the ability to work in a team within a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Training equivalent to one year of college or trade school or 4–5 years related experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial electrical repair including drives, instrumentation, and process controls with high-speed production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service blown film production equipment to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled by Team Leader.
• Complete open work orders in a timely fashion as directed by Team Leader.
• Record daily work in emailed shift report and Plant Maintenance Log.
• Maintain maintenance shop cleanliness and orderliness.
• Ability to assemble, disassemble and upgrade production lines or support equipment as required for repairs.
• Inspect production lines and schedule necessary preventive maintenance routines.
• Welds together metal parts and equipment as needed.
• Work overtime as required.
• Rotate on-call schedule with maintenance staff.
• Order parts as needed for service.
