Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service blown film production equipment and perform preventive maintenance. You will work under the Team Leader to keep downtime and scrap to a minimum, complete work orders promptly, and document activities in the maintenance log.

You will also assemble, disassemble, and upgrade lines as needed, while adhering to safety rules and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; one year of college or trade training or four to five years of experience preferred.
• Two to four years of experience in industrial electrical repair including drives, instrumentation, and process controls on high-speed production equipment.
• Must have basic mechanical and electrical skills; ability to read blueprints; troubleshoot and repair systems; work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Service blown film production equipment to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled by Team Leader.
• Complete open work orders promptly as directed by Team Leader.
• Record daily work in Plant Maintenance Log and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Assemble, disassemble and upgrade production lines or equipment for repairs or installations.
• Regularly inspect lines and schedule preventive maintenance.
