Job summary

Amcor in Richmond, Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure production equipment runs as required.

The role focuses on molding and printing equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems, with responsibilities including installing, maintaining and troubleshooting as part of a high-performing team. A two-year degree or equivalent and 0–3 years related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Six months to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Responsibilities

• Installs, alters, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical molding and printing equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC system.
• Installs and trouble shoots mechanical or electrical support equipment
• Preventative maintenance in molding.
• Preventative maintenance in printing.
• Preventative maintenance for support equipment.
