Job summary

Andersen Corporation Minnesota is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Technician to enhance production equipment. You will troubleshoot PLCs, drives, servos, HMIs and CNCs, mentor others, and champion electrical safety per NFPA 79. You’ll also support MES integration and TPM initiatives in a collaborative, hands-on role.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree or equivalent.
• 5 years experience in related fields.
• Be able to work alone as well as in a team environment.
• Familiar with Panel building and machine building practices and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs and electrical circuits.
• Maintain safety with NFPA 79, E-stops, light curtains and related safety circuits.
• Mentor technicians and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage parts inventory.
• Prepare machines for production: rigging, leveling and testing.
• Fabricate fixtures, guarding and machine parts as needed.
• Work with management to schedule and complete tasks.
• Assist in TPM deployment.
