Job summary

Dematic in Beech Island, SC is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on Material Handling Equipment. Shift is 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work.

You will perform repairs, implement PM routines, create work orders, troubleshoot conveyance issues, track parts, and support a safe, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and holidays.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking and component replacement.
Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
Create and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
Troubleshoot conveyance issues and determine resolutions.
Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
Respond to semi-complex service calls and correct equipment failures.
Identify problems as they occur and take corrective steps.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships across the organization.
