Job summary

Dematic Beech Island, SC is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Technician 3 for a rotating shift. You will perform repair and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment, troubleshoot electrical systems using test equipment, and manage work orders in our asset management system.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial maintenance, proficiency with PLC communications and HMIs, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Proficient in PLC communications and HMIs.
• Familiar with schematic and panel drawings and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking and component replacement.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot circuitry.
• Create and close work orders in asset management with labor hours and parts.
• Troubleshoot problems and identify resources needed to resolve.
• Locate and track spare parts and maintain inventories.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to meet specifications.
• Respond to service calls and correct faults; develop positive cross-functional relationships.
